  • Is Groopix free?

    We give each registered user a free monthly allowance of uploads plus downloads. This is currently 250 MB. You can upgrade your account to Plus (2 GB per month) or Pro (4 GB per month) for a small monthly fee. We charge for photobooks (that is how we stay in business). You can certainly use Groopix to upload and store the photos from all of your shared experiences, if you stay within your monthly allowance, it is free!

  • Can I download photos from a Group?

    Yes! This is typically not offered by the large photo sharing services. You can download any photo, in its original full resolution, from a Group. For particularly large photos, this is a much better way to share original images than by email.

  • What is a Collection?

    A collection is simply a sub-grouping of photos within a Group. We think it is really hard to deal with (sometimes) hundreds of photos. You can create multiple collections within each Group that lets you divide and conquer a large pooling of photos. Use collections to signify events, categories, chapters, days, whatever suits your needs.

  • Can anyone upload photos to a Group?

    Yes. This is one of the cool features of Groopix, every member of a Group can upload photos. There are lots of uses for this school events, travel, corporate events, concerts, parties, reunions and many more. Every member of a Group can also download its photos.

  • What kinds of photobooks does Groopix offer?

    Right now, we offer 8.75 x 11.25 and 10.25 x 12.75 hardcover books. Each has a variety of cover options including cloth or leather in many colors. There is a rectangular window cut in the front cover that reveals a photo underneath. We will be offering more photobook options and other products in the coming weeks and months. We will keep you posted.

  • What do these books cost?

    See our pricing page for details. Most books require a minimum of 20 pages and a hold a maximum of 80 to 100 pages.

  • How long does it take to make a photobook?

    It can take as little as a few seconds using our auto-fill feature. It really depends on how much you wish to customize your book (you can modify layouts, upload your own backgrounds, rearrange and/or tilt photos, and other features).
